Repair iPhone 7 Cannot Charge Motherboard Problem

Mr Jaymie came to our shop with his iPhone 7 that cannot be charged. He noticed it when he was unable to recharge after the battery runs out. This problem is always related to the charging port or motherboard. Either way, we tested the charging port and it was working well. That bring us to the motherboard, we checked on the charging IC on the motherboard. It was the charging IC that was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. Next, we told him about our discovery and he agreed on replacing the charging IC. After that, we removed the charging IC by applying heated air around the charging IC. Then, the device was reassembled and tested the device thoroughly. Lastly, the device was working normally and we returned the device back to him.
